Editorial policy
Decision usefulness comes before product count.
AirVerdicts publishes pages only when there is a specific indoor-air question to answer. We favor focused room-size, use-case, model-comparison and ownership-cost queries over generic lists assembled only to create more URLs.
Sources
Primary manufacturer documentation is preferred for specifications, filter compatibility, maintenance requirements and current product positioning. Secondary sources may help with context, but they do not replace primary-source verification for exact claims.
Testing language
We distinguish documentation-based research from hands-on testing. We do not use phrases that imply a product was physically tested unless that testing actually occurred and the method can be described.
Recommendations
A recommendation should identify who the product or approach is for, who should avoid it and which tradeoffs drive the conclusion. Universal “best” claims are avoided when the right choice clearly depends on room size, pollutant, noise tolerance or ownership cost.
Commercial independence
Affiliate relationships can affect whether AirVerdicts earns revenue from a link. They do not guarantee inclusion, ranking or a positive conclusion.
