Airflow is close
Coway lists the original Mighty at 233 smoke, 246 dust and 240 pollen CADR. The Mighty2 is listed at 240 smoke, 242 dust and 249 pollen CADR.
Those numbers are close enough that the decision is less about raw airflow and more about usability, sensing, maintenance and price.
Mighty2 updates the maintenance and sensing experience
Coway says the Mighty2 uses a MegaScan laser sensor for PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 and moves the washable pre-filter to a side-access design. The company lists a 19–50 dB noise range and a Max2 filter life of up to 12 months under typical use.
The original Mighty remains simpler and familiar, with a 24–53 dB published range and separate deodorization and HEPA replacement intervals.
Use current street price to break the tie
Because airflow is similar, a large price gap can change the answer. Compare the live purchase price and current replacement-filter cost before treating either model as an automatic winner.
If prices are close, the Mighty2 has the stronger current feature set.
Use the same sizing basis across brands. Room-size claims can use different air-change assumptions. When possible, compare published CADR and calculate the airflow your room actually needs.
